Ingredients and Crafting Process
To craft IPA Theory #5, we meticulously select and balance our ingredients:
- Malts: Vienna and pale malts form the backbone, providing a clean, toasty malt base that supports the hop flavors.
- Hops: A complex hop blend includes Columbus (mash hop), Wai-iti, Mosaic, and Ella (whirlpool), and Galaxy, Citra, and Ella (dry hop). This combination delivers an aromatic punch of floral, pineapple, and papaya notes.
- Yeast: Bavarian Lager yeast is used for cold fermentation, contributing to the beer’s crisp and refreshing finish.
